TECH-ARROW has organized a Regatta event for its clients and partners on the Lake Balaton (Hungary) already third year. For the event last year we developed a mobile/tablet application in order to give the participants an overview of the race. This application is available for Android devices and is perfect to organize races with multiple boats or to be used as tracking app for solitary sailors. In a race the participants have the possibility to find out their position to the other ships, their speed, the average speed and the distance between the boats. No race? – No problem. You can launch the application to check your current speed, average speed and the distance you have done already. Very useful are Points of Interest with the distance from you actual position.
