Sharing
✓ Folder sharing
In contentACCESS 5.1 we have introduced the folder sharing feature. Now, you can enjoy this feature in officeGATE and share folders and even whole structures. officeGATE provides the same options as contentWEB, including the recursive sharing possibility.
✓ Download notification
The new download notification feature is also available in officeGATE. To use this feature, officeGATE needs to be connected to contentACCESS 5.2 or a higher instance.
Common
✓ TLS 1.2
In this version we specified the TLS versions available for officeGATE. Previously, these options were specified by the operating system and .NET framework, which in most of the cases allowed TLS 1.0 only. Now, the TLS versions are explicitly specified. This will force officeGATE to use the TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3 if available.
✓ Performance and stability fixes
Improvements were made to make the system faster and more stable, so your contentACCESS experience could be better than it has ever been before.
